For its Fall / Winter Campaign 2023, Val Mont Lac went to the iconic Sustenpass in Switzerland.

Mountain passes are an integral part of Swiss history. They served as vital trade and transportation links, connecting northern and southern Europe. These steep roads enabled the exchange of goods, ideas, and cultures, contributing to Switzerland's multicultural heritage.

The Susten Pass opened only in 1945. It was the first mountain pass road specifically designed for vehicular traffic and is now often considered as being the best driving road of the Swiss Alps.
